Mål og innhald
The goal of the course is that the students should be able to conduct a self-contained discussion and analysis of an AI problem using the "toolbox" they have acquired through the bachelor's program.
The course consists of a general introduction to writing a bachelor's thesis in addition to a self-selected AI or AI and society problem / project description that will result in the completed thesis. The assignment should be based on a topic that will be discussed from a theoretical perspective, earlier research or a programming project. The Department of Information Science and Media Studies and the Department of Informatics contributes with a list of proposals for topics and issues

Arbeids- og undervisningsformer
Group meeting 1 (3 hours), individual guidance (30 minutes), group meeting 2 with presentation and opposition (4 hours)
Obligatorisk undervisningsaktivitet
- Approved project description, oral presentation and participation in 1st group meeting
- Approved first draft and participation in individual guidance
- Approved draft of the 2nd group meeting, as well as oral presentation and opposition to the collection
Please note that only a quarter of the compulsory requirements will be approved, and that only one is valid during the semester.

The grading system has a descending scale from A to E for passes and F for fail.

Litteraturliste
The reading list will be ready before 1 July for the autumn semester and 1 December for the spring semester.
